Eschborn 1 September 2010 – Verbatim will reveal its first range of LED lamps  at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin on September 3rd, 2010. The lamps, which are direct replacements for conventional incandescent bulbs and halogen spotlamps, are all dimmable. They will be available in wholesale and retail outlets throughout Europe by the end of 2010.

Verbatim has been awarded the 2011 iF product design gold award for its Clip-it USB Drive.  The award was presented to Verbatim at the iF gold Design award ceremony on the opening day of CeBIT 2011 in Hanover.

With its promotion site “Verbatim Championship”, Verbatim recently received several awards, including Tokyo Interactive Ad Awards, Webby Award and Cyber Silver and Bronze Lions at Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. The promotion site was launched in November 2009 to introduce Verbatim’s global brand to the Japanese market. It recorded 70 million page visits and had a massive viral impact with various mentions on Twitter and in blogs.
